This panel is a public talk initiative highlighting the power of women and the arts as catalysts for change that launched in July 2015. Conversations with Her expands the dialogue on what it means to be women in the arts. The panel is a curated conversation with leading innovators and thought leaders from a range of disciplines discussing cause-driven topics that are relevant to diverse audiences today.

:Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival week wraps A One-on-One Hip-Hop, Popping, Waacking and House battle. Doors open with our stellar all-female DJ line-up spinning hip-hop, funk, house, soul, and classics. The battle hosts international competitors intensely jockeying for a top spot. The battle winners are awarded cash prizes, gift bags, and one-year “bragging rights”. The winner can boost themselves as one of the world’s best female Hip- Hop dancers!

Gibney Dance: As of 2022, Ladies of Hip-Hop has a three-year partnership with Gibney to continue to bring women in hip-hop center stage. This partnership builds upon the eighteen years that Ladies of Hip-Hop has celebrated and documented the experiences and talent of women in street and club dance. Together, Gibney and Ladies of Hip-Hop will produce the 2023 Ladies of Hip-Hop festival, July 14-16 at Gibney and Chelsea Factory.
